Planning on cooling system refresh, and I was wondering where most of you buy your parts. I have my sources for the BMW L322, NAS 90, 930 and BWW's, but most of my normal sources don't carry parts for the 2014-16 LR4. These are the suppliers that I've been reviewing:

1) Miami British
2) Land Rover Parts Counter
3) Land Rover Tampa, Excellent Website and Diagrams, ask for Evan: https://parts.landrovertampa.net/default.asp

As far as stateside vendors go:

atlantic british
land rover parts merriam
fcp euro
lucky 8

But you can source all parts from the UK from places like LRDirect.com for most-times a lot cheaper. In fact, I have a hunch that Lucky8 dropships from a UK vendor.

It really depends on what you are looking for. OEM parts, I start with FCP euro (lifetime warranty). If they do not carry it, I use Land Rover Parts Counter. Their prices are slightly more expensive that Land Rover Parts Merriam, but I have rapport with the parts guy. Lucky 8 is where I get my aftermarket equipment. However, like @ryanjl stated, they are a middleman for UK vendors. If you are looking for prospered gear, I would recommend you buy directly from the UK vendor as wait times from lucky 8 are sometimes long.

I use:

Atlantic British
Lucky8
FCP Euro
Rock Auto

I’ve had good luck with all of these vendors. Like others have stated there’s situations where each of these have their own pros/cons, just depends.

I use Rock Auto quite a bit, mostly for the sheer selection. The format of their site is fantastic, big fan. Also they sometimes have stuff on closeout. FCP Euro is good for wearable suspension parts(LCAs, etc) as they have a lifetime warranty. If I need something OEM quickly, a local land rover dealership will do (LR Annapolis in my case, order online, go pick it up, in n out).

SO turns out, that I have actually used Land Rover Tampa in the years ago in the past. Prices are pretty decent, plus they have an excellent Parts guy by the name of Evan who has a lot of technical knowledge. Very nice guy, just got off the phone with him. He gave me a list of a few extra parts that I did not have that they see fail, or have issues with. I'll post my list once I get everything together....

rockauto is good, and i use them once and a while, but their shipping policy sicks and so does their return policy.

shipping fees are based on what warehouse they ship from. i understand it costs more, but thats part of the business. i dont think them stocking their parts in random warehouses should be passed on to the customer. flat rate or weight based shipping only. not a separate flat rate fee in the same order due to warehouse locations.

and

i purchased wiper blades for my audi from them. rock auto website says they fit...got them and i found out audi propriety wiper blade fitting doesn't work with 99% of the blades on the market. their return process said "our records show they fit, so you pay return shipping and we will refund you the part only cost (not the shipping fee to me)". it would have cost me more to return them. kind of shittyy since they said they would fit.

their prices are great for low end aftermarket brands. but if you compare a higher end aftermarket replacement with any other site, they are the same, if not more.

LCA's? cheaper at FCP euro. not to mention a lifetime warranty.
air struts? arnott is cheaper on ebay.
