Has anyone used a Magnaflow Cat Converter? Is that a good replacement Cat? Would you know the part# that would fit a 95 Discovery?

A genuine Cat from AB is like $700.00. Hence the thought of putting on a Magnaflow Cat.

My original Cat is rattling like crazy. From my research it seems like I will have to cut the existing Cat from the Y pipe and then connect the Magnaflow to it (maybe weld)?

Is my understanding of the process correct?

Mike, its wrong one.

Unfortunately looks like 94-95 were blessed with 2" ones.. How i found out? B/c i still have pair of 2 1/4" ones sitting in my garage, and completeexhaust people cant be bothered to send me RMA for 4 months.

You need 9004 series cats, 2" diameter. they are ok.. Still pain in bottom to fit. But ok.

Thanks Sergei

Sergei,

Thanks a bunch for that info. Is my understanding of the process correct though?

Cut the existing cat out. Then weld the new one in?

Sanu.
