Map Update Disk Error

I was installing an updated map disk (2009-2010) in my '06 HSE and got the following error message: "Cannot Loan System Software" "Disk Type Incorrect" "Please Insert Correct System Disk". I've done this in my other RR's without issues. The NAV was working perfectly prior to installing the new disk. I even tried to re-load the original disk but I get the same error message. I disconnected all of the wires from the NAV drive and let it sit for about 15 minutes thinking maybe it'd reset itself but no luck. Anyone seen or experienced this??

UPDATE: after a while, I was able to solve the issue as follows - as the original disk didn't work any longer, I tried another disk somewhere in between the newest update and my older original disk and somehow it was able to load and the NAV worked again. I left that "middle" disk in the system and did NOT try to reload anything else.
