This is great feedback. I stopped by the board to look up info on the Nokians and saw this thread first.
Are you planning to use them just as a winter tire, or all-year-round? And how is the interior noise when you're not driving in snow, compared to the stock Contis? Edit to add: I realized after I re-read your post you got the Hakkas, so I assume you're just using them as winter tires. I was looking at the Nokian WRG2s as a year-round tire since I don't see that much snow. Still, I would like to know what you're planning to use after winter is over, and what made you switch off the stocks of your practically new SUV.
I drove through snow today - which only happens for me 3 or 4 times a year - and the stocks were awful during breaking. They push a lot and while I don't drive through snow all the time now, once upon a time in my life I did, with far worse cars than this one (think Plymouth Gran Fury), and I consider myself well-versed in the ability to do so.
Anyway, long story short, I think the stocks need to go, but I am curious about cabin noise and whether you plan to put the Contis back on, or something else, when the weather improves.
Thanks!
