Just got back from picking up the LR3 from the dealer. Since the rig was still under warranty, they did the work on fixing the fuel gauge issue. The problem turned out to be both front and rear fuel senders They replaced both and my girl got a clean bill of health.
Now for the AWESOME-NESS. The manager at the dealer is a pretty good guy. Because of this guy, I have given them a couple referrals over the past year or so. While speaking to him, he says "...hey, you want this?" And promptly shows me the Land Rover OE Dog guard. and...it's in like new condition. I say "...sure, how much you want for it?" He says"...meh, I'll put it in the back of your LR3. You can have it."
How awesome is that?!
