my son left the windows down, need advice

Need some advice.

My son took my LR3 out last night and left the windows down partially during a rainstorm. The carpet is wet, I wet vaced last night still not completely dry, will have to wet vac again tonight.

Does anyone have any suggestions no how to get this dry a little quicker???

Also has anyone else had this type of problem with the carpets very wet????

First tip, MAKE YOUR SON wet vac the damn thing...!!! Until it's dry.

try taking out the floor mats and put a couple containers of damp rid in there. not sure how quickly it will work but definitely requires less effort

Fan blowing all night. Worry about mold, mildew. Carpets are one thing, insulation or sound matting (the fibrous kind), lurk beneath carpets and are tough to dry. No easy solution.

Heat, heat, heat. Use a salon style "gun" hair drier to sweep the carpets unilt dry. Oh, and yeah, make the kid do it. ............R
