Does anyone have problems with pairing PTI system with Bluetooth phone? I have PTI installed in my LR3, and I tried a lot to pair it to my Nokia 6230i using diffrent guides from car and from http://www.landrover.com/us/en/Owners/About/Bluetooth.htm . But phone finds nothing, and radio sas "No phone fitted". I tried my phone's bluetooth on others LR3 and it worked fine. So i think that in my car bluetooth is not activated.
Please help! My dealer is 300km away. Maybe someone knows helpful combination of button pressing on radio to activate Bluetooth on LR3?
Thank you

Sorry, nothing to activate... BT is always on... well, on as soon as you open the door. If your phone can't see your LR3 -- but can see other Land Rovers -- there is something wrong with your vehicle. Sorry.

I have the Crackberry 8700c and have had varied luck in getting it to operate truly handsfree (i.e.: via the audio system), but yesterday another gremlin popped up for me (or unexpected interaction).

While in the middle of a call, I went to open my garage door and before I'd opened any doors, the phone cut out w/o realizing that the BT devices were communicating w/ eachother. And since the ingnition was not on in the truck, the call was lost (other side hung up on me).

By contrast, the Volvo BT won't pull my call until the ignition is on II or III.

Ciao

Yeah, the Bluetooth PTI starts up when clicking on the door unlock. It's a feature... You need to turn on the car or hit the power button on the radio soon after doing this (say, within 10 seconds), or the call be in limbo.

You'll need to tell your phone to drop the BT connection if you don't get to your car in time.
