Hello Lads & Ladies

I have joined the forum to help a mate who has a 96 plate diesel Range Rover.
He has a problem with the battery draining if its left idle for a few days, I am a member on the Vauxhall owners forum for my own car an Omega. This has proved very helpfull for me so I have opted to join your forum to help my mate who is not able to use internet.
Thanks for the oppertunity to join.

Welcome to the forum, most of us are on the USA side of the pond so no Diesel's, but the battery drain is normally an alarm issue.

Best way to find the issue is disconnect the battery, place between the battery and the lets say the ground cable a trouble light or a volt meter if two are doing the work. Remove and replace fuses (remove then reinstall as needed) until you find that the light goes our or the voltage usage drops.
