New Disco II Owner and simple request

Hello all...just bought my first Land Rover...a 2002 Discovery II SD with 55k. Pretty happy so far. Retired my trusted Jeep Cherokee - wasn't easy to do...

The Disco II came sans owners manual...wondering if anyone knows where i can get one besides the Dealership...

I would start by programming in the garage door opener on the rear view mirror...it is a garage door remote - looks like the same setup we have on my wifes Volvo Cross Country...

Any help would be great

http://www.homelink.com/training/train.taf scroll through there, pick the options you need, will walk you through the home-link programming....other than the dealer, check out ebay for manuals...i got my d1 manual from there, just try to get the same year as your truck...usually pretty pricey like up to 80, but cheaper than dealer, and you really cannot find them anywhere, because after your year, they are out of print...you might find someone with it on cd, but that doesnt help much unless you have laptop with you when you break down 200 miles from pavement....

Thanks for the info...the manual you speak of off ebay - is it the owners manual or the repair manual? My immediate concern is the owner's manual, but eventually like to have the repair manual too....I can print out the owners manual and keep it in the truck....

Anyone have the owners/repair manual CD that they can post up on a FTP (hope that's not illegal)?
