Greetings from North Carolina! I'm new to the Forum, but have been with a 2001 Discovery for 133,000 nmiles and loving it! The vehicle was bought new for our compny's president, but became mine at 37,000 miles. It now has 170,000 miles on it and it's doing fine. The maintenance and servicing has been done by the Greensboro Rover Dealer up unitl now.[ Yes, we are lucky to have a dealer locally]. I take it to the North Carolina mountains three to four times a month where my wife and I have a Cafe/coffee shop/Bakery. It will go anywhere! I am a salesman and drive it quite a bit.My question is what should I expect now? Will it and the Transmission last? Is it a good high mileage vehicle? It has been maintained and serviced on schedule. I have to make a decision as do I keep on driving it or go for something newer? Thanks, jsams1142
