Good day

I recently switch from 255/60/18 to 265/60/18 on my 06 LR3,

The old tires were worn and suspect of a bearing issue. No groans or signs of the issue except maybe the wear pattern.

After the install I was told my front bearings were shot and need replacement. I have to wait for parts so I took the vehicle home. Only 12 miles, but noticing now at stops a low pitch groan like a rubbing noise. Never occured before

Could the new size tires( larger and a bit more aggressive) be causing this due to the beaing issue? Any adivice is appreciated

The heavier tires have a greater rotational weight and could put more stress on the bearings. A lot of us run even larger tires with out issue. It should clear up once the bearings are replaced. I am not much a risk taker and would not drive it back to the shop or you will be replacing more than just bearings. Keep us posted.
