no boom from my subwoofer

I dont believe my subwoofer is working...i checked the fuse, and tried to get to it, the amp/box or whatever it is is huge, but i dont get anything from the actual woofer, I suppose it's dead. Any idea of how many wtts that amp is, because im ready to hook it up toa an SAS Bazooka just to have a "lil bass"
