If you have a check engine light you should get the code read and then research what that means. The folks on this forum can be helpful perhaps more so than the Internet. I don’t have the gap tool yet since it’s over $500 however the generic code reader can be picked up for $125. You might also find out auto parts store to read the codes for free. Report back with the codes you might get some good information on the next steps..
