phone strangeness

On my 2007 LR3 HSE, when I turn on phone, using the phone button (to right of audio system screen), the audio system comes on, even though it was turned off to begin with.

Does the same happen to other owners?

I don't understand why the radio, which is turned off, starts playing when I push the phone button to the right of the audio system screen.

In answering your first question, Yes it does happen to all of us. Radio (when off) powers on if you place a call. Maybe a tad bit annoying, to me and my 0.02 cents worth, only when the call is ended because it doesn't turn off the radio.

However, nothing a little nudge on the power button or, if you feel like giving a voice command to turn turn the radio back off can cure.
