Hello All,
I had mentioned in prior threads that I sometimes felt a 'shudder' in the power steering and wanted to know if anyone else had the same. Well guess what!!
I was cruising up I-95 at high speed when I went to change lanes and had no power steering. Luckily I was coming up to my regular exit and was able to pull over to a place that I knew I could leave the vehicle until it was towed to the dealer. The effort to steer the vehicle was not bad and I suppose I could have made most
The dealer discovered the Power Steering hose, he did not specify if high pressure or return, had been rubbing against the main serpentine belt and ruptured! Talk about poor design... This is a safety issue. I not sure if the design is that close on all LR3 or mine was just assembled with a 'twist'
