i have a '98 Disco I with 149k+ miles. 3 months ago it stalled out. i let it sit for a couple hours and it started fine. this happend again about a month later only this time would not start again, had it towed to shop and it started fine picked it up that day and it drove fine until last weekend when it did the same thing. towed it home hoping it would start up for me but that has not been the case, it's still sitting out front and will not start (i can tell it wants to though) fuel pump replaced at 106k, spark plugs and wires replaced at 125k and fuel filter and fuel temp sensor at 141k. any ideas what this may be and a poosible remedy? I am not a mechanic but can get in there and do some work

Could very well be a fuel pump relay (check voltage at the pump or sound of pump running at start up)

I would also check spark at each cylinder (could be a bad coil pack)

I would also check the Alarm... lock un-lock the driver door 4 or 5 times via the key to ensure that the Alarm ECU is working correctly.
