question regarding warning lights

I was hoping someone could save me a trip to the dealer, the other day I braked hard and the amber ABS light, hill descent light and TC light came on in my 1999 series II Disco. I shut off the car and turned it on and they went away. Two days later it happened again. this time I shut off the car they would not go off but about 10 minutes later I sut off the car they are now off. Its those 3 warning lights together, no chimes or anything just the amber lights? Has anyone had this experience, is it a problem? Serious problem? Thank you.

Very common. They are all related becuase they all work off of the ABS system. Could be a faulty sensor, bad overlay harness or a bad ABS modulator. I would just monitor it and see if it comes back. The first thing the dealer will do is have you replace your pads and rotors.

thank you, i think my front pads are due to be changed and i assume rotors again perhaps that is causing it.thank you
