sounds like ti did fail. Guess it is all about getting the parts cheaper now and letting sherman oaks do the work since you are $90 into it with them.

quick add on to this thread for you guys or potential searchers later on... just had the issue of my front left sagging over night.... dealer first claimed i needed a new compressor (which didnt seem right since it re-enflated the bag when the car starts). i denied the fix and continued with it... took it back in a month later, they rediagnosed it as a leak in the front aigshock... so that seemed feasible and i had them replace.... i get the truck home and wake up to the same f@#king issue! take it back, turns out they really think it was a faulty ride height sensor that doesnt cost much.... but somehow i still paid (out of warranty now) like $900 to put in a new airshock that i prob didnt even need......

moral is, dont trust the dealer for one but also do your homework and it seems like some of the suspension issues are a cheap easy ride height sensor fix...
