Range Rover 2.7 td6 problem-2007

Hi there!Iam actually away in South of Greece on holidays.The past two days the message Transmission fault,limited gears available has been coming on screen and reduced power has occured on the vehicle.After that wont restart or starts for a bit and then message appears and turns off again.No dealers here so changed the fuel filter but still same problem.Battery has gone down and had to recharge it.Any suggestions so i dont have to send it to Athens and mess upmy holidays
