Well it was about time, my brakes started making noises about a month ago, so I ordered new brake pads all the way around for my Disco...
Well I pulled off both front tires to find the front brakes are still good
Then I pulled off the rear tires and found the inside on both brakes are gone
and I mean nothing...
So I figured time to change them in this lovely 83deg temps before it gets hot today. So I pull both cotter pins, and used the C-clamp to compress the brake pistons (yes I loosened the brake master cylinder cap). And change both rear brakes out in less than 45 minutes... not a bad job really. But I will have to remember to buy new cotter pins next time, since these look original.
On a scale of 1 - 10 (10 being the hardest) I would say maybe a 3.5 with adding antifreeze being a 1.
Air impact tools do help though.
