Hey guys,

I just first want to say that i've been reading this site for the past 6 or so months before i decided to go out and buy my own disco. The knowledge base here and the helpfulness of most of the posters was a huge factor in me deciding to go and buy one.

Now to my issue. I have a '97 Disco and the rear hydraulic step will not go back to the up position. Looks like i will need to replace the hydraulic lift (i think). Has anyone else come across this? If so is it hard to fix?

Thanks
MightyMax

Never had the issue, but I have heard of it... basically the shock has gone bad (probably gotten either hit hard, or abused someway. Not sure if you can buy just the shock or not, I know the whole assy is not cheap....
