I have a 2005 HSE with 32K on it that I just bought this month... I noticed today that the rear wheels seem to be tucked "in" a little at the top (i dont know exactly what it is but I think this is negative camber perhaps?). And sure enough... the insides of the rear tires are more worn that the outsides... pretty badly actually. The truck had a 4 wheel alignment 1K ago from the LR dealer I bought it from (it is a Land ROver CPO car with the warranty for another year thru land rover certified)
I could swear when I bought the truck (1K miles ago) the rear tires were not unevenly worn. Could this type of tire wear happen that quickly? The tires are almost brand new (maybe 3-5K on them).
Either way I'm unsure if the wear was prior to the dealer doing that alignment or has happened in the last 1K as a result of their alignment.
Have read on the forums about tire wear on these things.. but I kind of think I should go back to the dealer to have them re-align. Right? I mean, the left rear tire is noticeably tilted inwards at the top a bit.
Ideas?
