Hello everyone, I was wondering if someone could help me. I have a 2004 Discovery HSE with the stock 18 wheels. I want to use the Disco for off roading, so I need smaller size wheels. What size do I need to look for? What meassures? Thank you anyone that can help.

You can buy 16 inch wheels for it, and a lot of people are willing to trade their 16's for 18's.

Thank you Joey. I was wondering if I could buy a set of 16" steel wheels, and if so, what meassures would I have to be looking for? Thank you very much for your help.
I would like to use the BF Goodrich Mud-Terrain T/A KM2. They come in this two sizes if I want to keep the overall diameter unchanged.
LT225/75 R16/D
LT235/70 R16/C
Which one is better? and what kind of wheel would I have to use?

Sincerely, Fernando

On a D2, you can run a 265/75/16 with no issue.

Wheels, best to find a used set off of a Rover (junk yard) or call Nathan @ Discountbritishparts.com or Will Tillery @ roverguy.com

I am sure you will, and you are very welcome.... one thing I have learned is if you can't help a fellow Rover Enthusiast, then something is wrong. Kind of like waving when riding a motorcycle...

one further place to look for LR steel wheel sets and tires to match (they usually sell them in price-reduced sets as well) is Atlantic British. They have a couple of variations on this theme and, specifically, they have NATO steel wheels for the LR.

Hey, be careful with the 265's. 265x75x16's are usually 31" tires which will not be a problem. Some manufactures sizes are off from this scale, like trexus which is a 32" tire which will be a problem. I am not sure what the actual size of bf's are but just make sure they are actually 31's.

Thank you for your tip. What happens if the tires Im looking at are 31.7 in diameter? They are the Dunlop Mud Rovers.
I almost buught them, but Im now| waiting your response, since it seems you know about this issue. Thank you very much.

Thank you for your tip. I visited the Atlantic British web site and I found the wheels I needed.
