Greetings Joey.
I was considering the meassures 265/75 R16 for my Discovery, but another user, basstard ,says they have to be 31 in diameter to work. What happens if they are 31.7? Can the tires become a problem in that diameter? In advance, I Thank you so much for your answer

Thank you for your tip. What happens if the tires Im looking at are 31.7 in diameter? They are the Dunlop Mud Rovers.
I almost buught them, but Im now| waiting your response, since it seems you know about this issue. Thank you very much.

I think you will be OK with that size. with the 32's at full articulation I would get a little rub. Not bad just a little bit, That quarter inch probably would have bee enough and it probably would have self corrected. Good luck and happy wheelin, It'll be a different truck after you get them cleats on there. Something else to consider would be a "center differential lock". These are probably the 2 greatest bolt ons to a disco that will help you get into some trouble  .

Discovery Series II

*

255/65-16: Stock tire size.
*

255/70-16: Just a bit taller than stock.
*

265/75-16: Taller and wider than stock, possible to fit without lift. minor rubbing. Looks real balanced with mild OME lift.
*

285/75-16: even taller than 265/75-16, r requires a bit more lift than the regular OME lift. some have fitted OME751 from Discovery series I, and changed SLS sensor in the rear to achieve almost 3 inches. Gearing and shaft strenght become issues.
*

255/85-16: a bit taller than 285/75-15 but narrower. Gearing and shaft strenght become issues.

Thank you for your tip. I visited the Atlantic British web site and I found the wheels I needed.

also,if you talk to Eric Riston there @ AB, he will make you aware of any shipping deals etc (i.e., you lucky folks south of the border get free shipping more often than not - especialy on orders over $200.00)

Joey. Once again, me. I just put the 265/75 R16 on the 04 disco and guess what? they didnt fit. When I turn the wheel, the front bumper gets in the tire´s way, so I dont know what to do. What is your advice? Should I lift the truck? How much? What is an OME Lift? Thank you very much, Im a little stressed, since I wasnt planning on any lifting, but I think I dont have other choice.
