Hello,
After a few years without Rover, I have discovered the newer vehicles are vastly differant in the suspension and drive train areas. Owning a Defender and performing much work on a 95' Classic RR, I see the new models are vastly differant and have reservations about owning a vehicle I can not work on myself. Has the realibility of these new models ( LR4) and RR so good, that I will not find myself on my back underneath the machine fixing things. All the usual stuff as water pump, air pumps, u joints, brakes, seam packaged not for the shade tree mechanic, as we all call ourselves.
Well --- tell me, should I get the LR4 and hope for the best ??? ( the closest dealer is nearly 300 miles away )
Please Advise,
Thank you !

Welcome to the forum. Know a friend that sells them, I can say the mid to high mileage LR3's are now coming in needing lots of work. So I would say an LR4 would be good if you don't plan to keep it past 100k.
