Indeed it is, hardest part for me was getting the glass. Second pic was the shattered one that came out. Tree fell on it.

Knarly. I bet its expensive lol. I'd be interested to hear how much Land Rover wants for it. Not sure I'd want to do a 3rd party no-name brand on it because it may not pass the same specs.

1700 from dealer was best price I could find. $200 for used one was much better. I fully understand why no glass guys around me wanted to do it.

The glass guys didn't want to do the used one? I could understand that but if the glass arrives with what you need to seal it the work would be DIY. There is a lot of glass up top so I kinda think more than windsheild prices.

If it holds up to hail that would be good. I'm traveling to Utah to overland and the mountains up there are fing wild. One aspect is the weather gets intense with monsoon rain, flash floods, hail and so far I've avoided wind. It doesn't make sense to be in the trees during those times. When I lived in Woodinville, WA and Redmond the back hard would have limbs sticking out of the ground like huge daggers after the storms passed, the power lines would be down every time. It was nuts.

Ha, local guys wouldn't entertain doing it at all. Said they don't do them anymore, too much hassle. Disassembly and prep was the hardest part ( recovering headliner tomorrow). Bought battery caulk gun and eurathane tubes. Dropping it in was pretty easy with three people
