Roof Rails install Washington DC area

Hello everyone.

I am looking to get extended roof rails installed on my 2016 LR4. I live in the Washington dc area. Does any know or recommend a shop that can do that? I went to the dealer and they quote me $3000 to install them!

I recommend Independent Land Rover Specialists in North Bethesda/Rockville, and Airpark Rovers in Gaithersburg. Both are excellent independent LR shops. If you go to either place, tell them Chris Perez referred you.

With that said, it is not a bad DIY job if you take your time and stay away from your panoramic glass roof when leveraging things around up there.

$3k to install roof rails is wild, even for a dealership. It doesn’t take more then an hour for someone with no experience to tackle.

I use Land Rover Repair and Services in Lorton. John the owner is a great and honest guy. I think he charges $120 an hour.
