Hello and sorry if this subject is already treat in another post (i don't find it in this case).
I would to know if someone is concern by the safety recall about cracking knuckles or if members of the forum are unfortunately touch by this problem ? I discover this default this summer on my 2014 L405 and in France JLR don't talk about this ? i know this problem is take in charge gracefull in US and Canada but nothing in Great Britain, EU or other countries .
In last news , more models than RR sport or Defender can be concern.
Have you some informations to share ?
Personnaly i have contact press and French customer regulation to force JLR to communicate.
PS : i love my RR but this year too many expensive problems

The recall is for North America.
Vehicles that pass the inspection, will have to have some support brackets installed.

Thanks for the answer. I know this recall is only for america customer and i don't understand why.
All Range Rover unit sell all around the World are produced in only one British Factory, with same pieces and with same quality procedure.
Why they limit recall only to North America ? Only because they are affraid by collecrive class action ?
This summer i have change the both front knuckles because one of them was cracking. But as constuctor made modification on the new référence, both side were changed.... and payed.
Are JLR customers from other countries than America less considered ?
At this time i'm in contact with french governemental services to engage procedure against JLR (they don't answer to my emails).

For those of you outside the recall range ('14-'17), CHECK YOUR KNUCKLES TOO!!

I just discovered my '21 with 30k mi. has a crack on the passenger side at the upper ball joint mount just like LR Time. Dealer will not fix under the recall since this model year is 'not affected', but I do have an extended warranty on it so I'm not totally on the hook.

I have also filed a complaint on the NHTSA.gov site in hopes that it is looked into for more model years to be included
