Hello Everybody, I have 06 range rover hse 4.4
It's been a project for 3 yrs. Actually bought it from my son it had cats missing and fuel pump and fuel filter issues. I got fuel pump in also ew filter tank completely wiped clean prior. I also had the car towed to the dealership 2 yrs ago to get the key programming. Well my question is I've never drove the car yet and now that pump is back in and I'm ready to see about initial start. All I get is cranking no fuel. I put 3 gallons idk if that's quite enough I had older dodge truck literally took 6 gallons for it initially to prime and start itself. My ignition is in console and continually won't turn I pull fuse out back car cranks. The buttons on fob won't lock or unlock car. Also the steering lock is broke I believe it doesn't lock the steering ever.
So basically I tried relearn key on off didn't work. I also have a good scanner paid for range rover unlock did reprogram said successful no go. Buttons still don't work I believe I've lost programming. Also passenger door will not unlock or window won't go down.
I've done the obvious fob battery even new fob new agm battery in vehicle. Passenger door no power no fuel on crank and ignition constantly getting stuck til I pull fuse. Any ideas what's going on could it be the steering lock causing immobilizer do I just need Rover to do programming what causes ignition to stop turning??
