I have read where some favor doing an induction cleanse with seafom. My 95 DI has 160+ and has never had this done. Would you see it as beneficial to perform and if so what is the best way to proceed? Thanks.

I Would say it can't hurt, and for around $6 a can it isn't expensive. Remove the vacuum line from the drivers side (LHD) valve cover, and slowly with engine running poor in the seafoam in the the vacuum tube (going into the intake) when can is empty, shut engine down for 10 minutes, start and watch the smoke cloud.

Thanks Joey, I'll give it a shot. Just looking to get a little more out of the little old lady! Would you recommend seafoam for the fuel tank also or move to the BG-44?

Getting ready to do first induction cleanse on the 95 Disco I. Does anyone have a photo of where the Seafoam should siphon in? I believe i have the right hose but I am second guessing myself. Thanks for any help.

Be careful where you do this. The cloud is like nothing you have ever seen so make sure you don't do this by a busy street/intersection.
When I did this, My neighbor came running over with a fire extinguisher LOL.

Pull it off and see if it has alot of suction. If it does then that is the 1.

The one I am thinking is about an inch in diameter and and runs from just left of center of the block to the driver side and just to that side of the 3.9 stamp.
