Selling BMW 745 and buying a Range Rover (1988)

Im looking into buying a 1988 or 1992 range rover, and I would like to get some advice from owners about common issues, maintenance, and any thing to look for when hunting for a range rover. thanks in advance for the input

I'd go for the 92 or at least a 90 and up as there are more parts available and they'll have the 3.9L V8 vs the underpowered 3.5L.
