Series II parking lights ? Headlight swap

Hello everyone.

Recently bought a 00 Disco II and noticed my amber corner lights (next to the headlight) only blink with the turn signal. Is this normal ? My 99 Disco I is the same way. Kinda suprising there are no parking lights.

I'm also looking into a 03 04 Headlight conversion, anyone done one ?

There's really no parking lights as we know it, the headlights (at least on the DI, have a second bulb underneath the main, that is on in "parking mode".)

I've read somewhere a post about replacing the single filament socket on the turn, with a dual.
