You will be happy with the Magnacors. Mine is in. Now I will get the plugs this weekend and change the plugs and the wires. Now to see if I can get some money for the MeanGreen.

Always replace all the plugs at the same time, and since you got the Magnacors, why not switch over to the Bosch Platium Plus 4's, you'll like the difference. Yes, do get some SeaFoam and trest it along with the plugs
Are you replacing your shocks and stablizer also? It may wander a little if you don't.

I just replaced the plugs 2 weeks ago. I went with NGK iridium's. I've got the OME stabiizer and N107/108s on the truck now. I went with 777 front and 781 rears.

After the seafoam treatment, will it be ok for the truck to idle until all the smoke clears, or do I have to drive it around?

Thanks for all the replies!

Yes, you only need to change the one plug in that case. After the SeaFoam, let it sit for 30 minutes then go hammer it, idleing won't help blow the carbon out.
Good luck and enjoy the new ride.

Just did the seafoam treatment. I can't believe all the white smoke that came out. I had codes P1300, P0306, 0307,0305 & 0308 pop up. I cleared the codes an now the service engine soon light doesn't turn on. the knocking noise is still there, but not as loud. it's problably the plug wire that is causing the misfire. Is there a way to check the plug wire?

thanks

How old are they by mileage? Much over 60 or 70,000 miles and they are warn. Go out tonight, when it is dark and while the engine is running open the hood and see if you have any sparks coming from the wires to the block. This is a simple test.

Thanks Mike, I'll check tonight.

I think over 50k miles on the wires.

Ended up taking the rover to the shop. Found out my problem was a bad head gasket. I'm also getting new valve cover gaskets, magnecor wires installed, new belt and the list goes on. Hopefully the rover will last another 100k miles.

Thanks for all your help guys!
