I had my 2005 LR3 SE (loaded with just about everything you can put on an SE) in for the 15,000 checkup last week. They said everything was normal (they had told me that they would be changing the gas tank when I made the appointment, but when I got there they didn't have any left).
Two days later I stopped at a job and didn't lock the door. 20 minutes later I got in and when I started it up the Land Rover Logo was displayed on the Nav screen (but not the annoying "I Agree" text and button) and the radio would not make a sound (but the CD display said the CD was advancing). I tried everything I could think of and finally just drove off mad. A mile later I decided that maybe it was associated with the door lock and stopped, turned it off, got out and locked the door. I waited a couple of minutes, unlocked the car, got in and everything worked fine.
This has happened one other time since (again when I didn't lock the door). Next time I stopped, I got out and locked the door. When I got back in the Nav and Radio both worked fine.
Does anyone else have this intermittent problem? Is there any way it could be associated with the service?
