Shipped my 2006 LR3 overseas - Get Tranmission Fault Error and car will not drive

I am desperately seeking help as my 2006 Land Rover LR3 SE has not been driveable since it arrived a month and a half ago. When I start the LR3 and try to put the car in reverse, an F pops up in the screen where the R is shown and I get messages saying Special Programs off and Transmission Fault Limited Gears available. I have been able to move the car but that is only when I have revved the engine up to 10,000 RPMs in which reverse kicks in. I know the LR3 is very much a computer and it seems that something electrical is causing the LR3 to disable the transmission. Unfortunately, where I am at in Ethiopia, there are no mechanics who have seen this issue. I am asking for any help anyone can provide to help resolve this issue. So far we have replaced the battery and the brake light switch with no difference. The mechanics I am working with have used the Launch X431 and Auto Boss V30 diagnostic tools and the codes that being generated are the following:

If anyone has worked on this issue or had this issue before and could give us some steps to diagnose this issue, that would be greatly appreciated. I am almost thinking of flying a Land Rover Mechanic to Ethiopia to fix the problem. Thanks again for any info you can provide.

A couple of preliminary questions;

Is this your own vehicle, or one you bought and had shipped there? What was the condition when it was shipped.

#1, check battery voltage while not running. If it is less then 12.4, attempt to give it a full charge. If it does not take / hold a charge about that, replace it with a known good battery and retest and see where you are then.

It sounds like maybe wiring got damaged or disconnected underneath it. Perhaps when loading or unloading. I would advise to get underneath it, carefully inspect wiring and connections from front to back for any rodent or other damage. Check battery voltage as well.

The shift lever on the transmission should be reviewed for rust, it is possible that is out of whack.

I'll try and find the nearest mechanic for you, I know a guy a lot closer, otherwise I would advise you to seek help in South Africa if you cannot get what you need closer. Dangerous place to be so be these days so be careful up there.

Behind the Drivers side rear wheel there is a wiring harness, inspect it carefully as well.

Something to check on in the mean time.

Transfer Case Control Module:
P0562 System voltage
P0826-00 TCM Up and down switch input circuit. (check transfer case switch on console) ie: water damage from leaking sun roof on console will damage it. Disassemble console and inspect for water damage. Test switch / replace, etc.

There is a good chance this is something very basic, as hopefully you are aware of the crazy stuff that happens with a bad tail light bulb or brake light switch, and you have a good set of spares.

Thanks for the help. I will pass the info on to the mechanics this morning. It probably wouldn't hurt to take the wheels off and really inspect the wheel wells. I'm hoping it is something as simple as this. I have already swapped out for a new battery but will check the voltage to make sure it is 12.4 when the car is off.

Do you know the mechanics at Bush Rover in Nairobi?

I have already swapped out the brake light switch as well as the two back break lights.

Not good news

After troubleshooting everything but the transmission and finding nothing wrong, we took the transmission out and it is all burned up. Nothing is salvageable. The LR3 was in great shape and serviced before shipping here. I cannot believe I have to buy a new transmission. Anyone have suggestions for who to buy from?

Yeah something smells foul here. Something had to happen between the time you serviced it and the time it arrived overseas.
