Tell me more, esp in the snow. I've been wavering on the Synchrones for a while (already on my second set of Wrangler HPs). I know that they're quiet which is a big plus but I've been getting conflicting accounts on how they perform in the snow (lots of hills where I live) and esp. cornering at speed. Volvo XC owners HATE them in the snow...

thanks!

I've taken them through Yosemite (made a navigational error and ended up
at the South gate trying to get to Badger pass.) They were fine. You just
have to treat the snow as if it is a wet slippery surface. :) They were at
least as good as the Goodyears if not a bit better and as usual, they are
much quieter leaving me far more relaxed and less tired after hours of driving.
I also experimented with the electronic setting and settled on raised position
with normal surface program so I didn't have to step harder on the accelerator
to get moving.
Cheers,
Oliver
ps. I grew up in Montreal and passed my driver's test in a snowstorm in my dad's
'76 Buick LeSabre with a 455 ** engine.

Sweet. Though, I bet the License Examiner was a bit nervous at first. Ok, thanks for the advice, my next set will be the synchrones. The HPs are excessively noisy and I wear them out fast. The software update didn't help the noise issue any as the ride is a little harsher but at least it cured the suspension faults. I figure with the traction control and the locking center & rear diff, I should do just fine on the synchrones.
