Money not being a deciding factor would you all go with the Rasta sliders or the Off Roving sliders. The Rasta have a clean line but I would think that the level 3 Off Roving sliders would be a lot more substantial than the Rasta's but I have no experiance with either. What are your thoughts.
Thanks,
Trevor
The rastas ar not really sliders but sill protectors imho. If you are going to do some tough stuff the Rover Specialties will protect you well, including the vulnerable compressor.
I have the level 1 and am pleased with them. I do not prefer having the outrigging of the other 2 levels. If I did I would go with the level 2.
With the rover specialties you will give up a little comfort. You have to leave the cover off the air compressor which means it will be louder. The sliders bolt to the frame and the body you do get some amplification of vibrations from the engine.
There are ways to lower the noise of the compressor with insulation and foam.
Also I did not mention on a previous post that with the rasta gearbox plate on, you do get an increase in engine exaust noise because the noise is bounced back upward instead of down to the ground.
