I have a 2017 RR Sport. I recall receiving a letter from LR recommending that I take the vehicle to the dealer in 2018 or 2019 to upgrade the software. Two of the features the letter claimed would be added are: (1) future software updates could be downloaded by owner via wifi without additional dealership visits, and (2) addition of Apple Carplay. I was always in a rush each time I had the vehicle at the dealership, so never got around to asking for these updates.
Is there any way to DIY install these software updates, or do I need to take to the dealership?
