Steering gear assembly

Hi everyone
I just purchased a 2010 LR4 HSE, but it has a cracked steering gear assembly.
Ive been looking around and calling places for 2 weeks and havent had any luck finding a used one, so i was wondering if anyone knows if i can make an LR3 gear assy work on an LR4? Or if there is another model that can fit?

I have part number:LR054839

Any info would be really, really apreciate it. I want to try and avoid paying 1700 for a brand new one.

Well, just thought i might as well come back and inform everyone that with a little modification you can use an LR3 stering rack on an LR4.

Thanks for the update. If you happen to get photos or any more details it would be great to have around on the forums in case someone else runs into this. Curious about how/why this failed on your vehicle also.
