Hello peeps. New here..... so here goes. I have a 1990 Range Rover Classic and had a leaky power steering gear box. I ordered the washer kits (inlet/outlet shaft seals) and power steering hoses that connect box toreservoir and power steering pump, from xks unlimited. I took the steering box out of the truck and began the journey of replacing all the seals and reinstalling the steering box (with an out of line steering wheel now...no biggy). When all was done I filled the reservoir with Dextron 2 atf as recommended by land rovers manual. Now I have some really stiff steering but no leaks. I dont know if this is an easy fix by just a couple of adjustments or what! I also adjusted the sector shaft adjustment screw located on top of the steering box but didn't want to adjust that to much in case that is the wrong move. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the forum. if it is real tight it could very well be the adjuster at the top if you messed with it during your seal replacement. If it is too loose you will have a lot of play in your steering. IF too tight it will be that very tight steering.
