Strange Cricket like sound

Hi good people,

I just recently bought an 03 RR HSE and when I open the door, I hear this weird cricket like sound emitting from the car for a few seconds. Has anyone every experienced this? Or does anyone have any idea as what this could be?

hmmm I would remove the cricket.... dang bugs anyways.

lol...... Joey. I searched high an low for the darn bug but it seems to be well hidden.

I'd notify the repair shop of your suggestion when I take it in next week. Thank you very much.

Having had the problem. It is most likely the fan on the ecu, you should hear the sound coming from the passenger side of the dash.
