Fit the passenger side shifter installed tonight.

A fair gap between it and the body, between 1/4 and 3/8 of an inch. Don't know if that's normal.

Can anyone else with these confirm this is how they're supposed to fit?

Apparently, the primer I put on did not bond, despite having gone over the whole thing with a wire wheel and wiped it down with acetone. Will need to strip them at some point and redo it.

Pretty disappointed.

Did you remove the plastic plugs on the rocker/sill and all the clips from the old plastic cover? Both of these will act as a spacer.

I think the front is always going to have a gap because of the shape of the bottom of the fender.
