Thule Xadapt2 for factory rack?

Has anyone tried using Thule Xadapt2 kit to mount Thule products to the factory crossbars? The kit includes t bolts that look like they will fit in the factory grooves.

I'm on my way to REI today to pick up a kit and give it a try. I'm trying to mount my Thule 599XTR bike rack.
