I'm hitching a trailer to our 2007 LR3. I need to plug the (female) 4-prong connector on the wiring harness on the trailer into the LR3 but can't find a way to do that. Any help? I'm hoping we're missing something really obvious.
No help at all in the owner's manual -- not even in the 8 page section on towing! I think there is a part that can be used to create a connection on the LR3 but we don't have time to order it (driving tomorrow). We have a 4-prong connection kit that I bought from Canadian tire, but have no idea how to wire that into the LR3.

If you have a plug it is behind the cover in the rear bumper. If you don't, you will need an accessory harness from your dealer. It is all plug and play, you essentially are plugging a harness in-line wiht the car. You are talking about a 1/2 hour install most people can do on their own. You could probably do some hack and tap, but I don't know how the car's electronics will react.
