tv tuner into LR3 w/ factory NAV screen /

I was reading this post on the UK forums (Disco3) -- and saw that with a couple of cable connections and a relatively inexpensive european tv tuner, people are watching tv on their satnav screens.

Anyways. How could we do this in the USA? I know I wont be watching TV while driving -- so no worries about flaming me for that -- but this would be a very very cool feature.

First, you'll need to mount a giant satellite dish on the roof

I have some friends who recently did a similar install. I took a photo after the install. Pretty clean if I say so.

The guy is talking about watching TV through NAV .screen with IPHONE as a transmitter.NO need for satellite with this set up.

...on that NAVTV link there is a very cool looking FLIR (night vision) product.

I dont know of any HDTV (ATSC) automobile tuners. Let us know if you find one.
