Hi
Last weekend was a long one so I decided to do some work on my rover.
I wanted to replace a gasket on my front differential and before going into a more mechanical aspect I proceeded to drain all the oil on the Differential deposit. When I uncovered the drain valve an awful smell started to come out of my Differential deposit. I started to drain it and as I was inspecting the "oil" I noticed it was more water than oil. Is it possible for water to get into that deposit? I have checked for leaks of my differential to see if the water came into the deposit trough a baldy tighten part but so far no leaks have appeared. Is there another way the water could have gotten into that deposit?
Thanks
