what is up with the lines in windshield

Do the lines in the windshield bother anyone else. At night the reflection from on comming cars is drastically distorted. What were they thinking.

One reason I didn't get the cold climate package.

I don't notice it anymore. It's not unique to Land Rover; most vehicles with heated windshield/windscreen has this. It's the price you pay. If it really bothers you, you can swap out the windshield with the non-heated one.

Funny how the brain can adjust to things. My lines have "disaapeared" and I don't notice them anymore....of course, until a passenger asks what they are and I "see" them again for the rest of the drive...arrgghh.

You get used to it. I like to point them out to my PAX right before I hit their butt warmer. They soon get *really* uncomfortable without knowing why.
