I would rather have a placement vehicle myself.

I agree. Once something that major happens, it is impossible to get everything lined back up, so it's very likely tires will wear bad, it might always pull one direction if you let go of the steering wheel, etc. I know you're attached, but you would be better off starting new if you can.

EDIT, I know all to well about this. I had a '74 bronco I built myself. Puts lots of blood ,sweat, and tears into. Then one night a drunk drive came thru my 'hood and plowed thru my bronco totaling it and two other cars!! It was hard to give it up, but I am glad I did.

Question: I log on to the forum, and can find the threads, but have to go through each thread to find a member I want to still send info to. I've been pulling up some of the members I've been speaking with by going to the member list. Is this the easiest way to do it? When I'm replying by just going to the threads themselves, I don't know whether the member who wrote me last and it's been a bit since I've responded, sees the reply. Or do they receive an email on all replies to that certain thread. I don't mind searching via member list or thread, just want to make sure I'm doing it the quickest way? If I reply to a thread which has already gone into 5 or 6 pages of threads, and I search for the one I'm looking for and reply, will the member still receive that reply, or is too far down the line of present posts? Hope I'm making sense.

I think I understand some of your question. Anytime you reply to a thread, your reply goes all the way to the bottom of the thread, regardless if it's 1 page or 100. If you want to answer a specific question, click on the "quote" button of the person you're responding to and type your message below the [\quote] code.

As far as sending a private message to someone, which appears to be what you're asking at the beginning, just click on their screen name anywhere it appears and you'll get a list of options. Choose the one that you'd like and away you go.

Does that help? Did I not answer any part of your question?
