Where to find good aftermarket brake pads & gaskets?

Hello every,
I just wanted to thank everyone on this forum who answered my questions it's been a really big help! I was wondering where I can find cheaper Brake pads and Rotors than buying OEM LR. Is there a car parts store or do you guys get them from off line and how much am I looking at? I’ve start to look around but O’Reilly’s only carries them for a 98 and come to find out they changed them in 99 on the series II is this true ? I would like to just replace the brake pads with the best long lasting after market pads. Oh, second question is what and where can I find the best head gaskets for my Discovery?

Go to the Atlantic British web site, they have good rotor/pad combinations and you'll find the head gaskets also.

I don't know if they are in your area but the Carquest chain of motor factors carry rotors and pads for disco I's, I think that they are right accross N.America. Cheaper than any LR dealer or LR specialist shops. I fitted lots of them on customers vehicles for the past few years and no problems. Some european parts shop do Brembo rotors which are great, after all they are std fitment to most Italian supercars, if you can't find a supplier try your local Italian car shop and see if they can order them through the company that supplies their Italian parts.

Both offer the EBC 6000 series. Just installed mine and am very impressed.

They have drilled and slotted rotors too.
