They're pretty soft indeed. However your picture makes me think that you
Don't stick with LR recommendation and maybe have it the same front and back. You could try 40 or 42...

My bump in PSI was based on your recommendation, Axel. 45 PSI with our 75 degree weather right now should sit in the 42 range when it drops to the 20s and 30s this week. Good times.

Just to make sure we are clear here, you only need the spacers when you run LR3 18" wheels. The Compomotives take into account the LR4 brake size and already have the correct offset built into them. There is no reason to use spacers with Compomotive wheels.

I also run the compos and 285/60 tires. (I need more footprint on sand)

Right, understood. I was just trying to see if I could use spacers with them and run bigger tires.

I'm glad I could be of help ;). I noticed that with my 44psi cold after driving on the freeway for a while the pressure is at 48.

Your tires would be hitting the wheel arches anytime you're close to full articulation.

Ok so just so I'm clear, what's the biggest we can go with out rubbing with the compos and no lift. Some one said 265/65 and someone else said they are running 285/60.

Its not just what size without rubbing but 265/65 is the biggest tire that can fit underneath. I had to get it deflated and kick the damn tire to fit

They both are 31.5". Just different footprints. You can go either way. It will depend on what tire you want. I wanted a severe weather rated all terrain tire so I went with the Duratrac (they really are a compromise between an all terrain and mud terrain) in 265/65. I was also aiming at a narrower footprint and didn't care for a heavy outdated E rated tire (such as the BFG TA KO).

I had mine underneath for a while but I moved it to the trunk (secured with ****** straps) to not hinder my departure angle (and not mess up the Compo).

Yep, I chose my 285/60 is purely for the footprint in sand (90% of my off-road driving here in the middle east). If I were anywhere back home in the US with "normal" trails, I would go with the 265/65 size.

For what it's worth, I still need to deflate my spare down to about 8 psi and give it some tough love (kicks) to fit underneath. I'd **** for a Kaymar bumper! :(
